07:23 AM EST, 12/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies' (TTE.PA, TTE.L, TTE.BR) Chief Executive Officer Patrick Pouyanné expects a rebound in the oil market in the longer term despite signs of weakness across the sector, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday. In an interview with Bloomberg TV, Pouyanné said he expects members within the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, or OPEC, to "manage the situation." Crude output is expected to surpass demand through 2026, the report noted. For the liquefied natural gas market, the French oil giant's CEO predicts that prices will probably fall in 2027 as new LNG projects in Qatar and the US will come on online.
