According to the Ukrainian General Staff, Ukrainian drones attacked Russia's Lukoil Company's Graver oil field in the Caspian Sea and damaged an offshore gas platform. The statement said that the attack occurred on December 14, causing 14 oil wells to stop production. Over the past few days, drones have also attacked Lukoil's two other oil fields in the northern Caspian Sea — Filanovsky oil field and Kolchagin oil field. Kyiv has been stepping up its crackdown on Russian energy assets, targeting oil refineries, offshore terminals, platforms, and tankers to cut Moscow's funding sources. Infrastructure in the Black Sea and Caspian Sea has been increasingly targeted in recent weeks, including an important Caspian Sea pier.
