UK's Annual Inflation Eases to 3.2% in November

02:10 AM EST, 12/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Britain's annual inflation rate fell to 3.2% in November from 3.6% in October, according to data from the Office for National Statistics published Wednesday. Analysts expected a 3.5% rate for the month. On a monthly basis, consumer prices were 0.2% lower, compared with the 0.4% gain earlier and the market forecast of zero growth. Meanwhile, the UK's annual core inflation rate was 3.2%, compared with the prior and expected 3.4%. Month over month, core consumer prices edged down 0.2%, against the previous 0.3% rise.
