Today, the Supreme People's Court issued the “Decision on Amending the 'Subject Matter Provisions for Civil Cases'” and the “Notice Concerning Issuance of the Revised 'Subject Matter Provisions for Civil Cases'”, amending the “Civil Case Subject Provisions” for the third time. The two documents will come into effect on January 1, 2026, to facilitate parties to conduct civil lawsuits and regulate civil case filing, trial, and judicial statistics of the People's Courts' work.
