04:01 AM EST, 12/16/2025 (MT Newswires) -- TotalEnergies (TTE.PA, TTE.L) said Tuesday it signed a 21-year power purchase agreement with Alphabet (ABEA.F) unit Google to supply 1 terawatt-hour of renewable electricity from its planned Citra Energies solar plant in Malaysia. The agreement will be effective upon the project's financial close, scheduled for the first quarter of 2026. The plant is set to be built from early 2026. The French oil and gas giant holds a 49% stake in the project, which is expected to support Google's data center operations in Malaysia.
