On December 10, 2025, Vice Minister of Finance Guo Tingting met with IFRS Foundation Trustee Chairman Erkki Likanen and his entourage within the Ministry. The two sides exchanged views on issues such as the establishment of international financial reporting standards, international convergence of Chinese accounting and sustainable disclosure standards, deepening exchanges and cooperation between the two sides, and renewed a memorandum of understanding on the operation of the Foundation's Beijing office.
