Japan's “Hokkaido Shimbun” reported on December 14 that sources revealed that when discussing Sino-US and Sino-Japanese relations, US President Trump warned Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi to “not add to the chaos.” The report said that after the first meeting between China and the US dollar in October this year, Trump prioritized reaching a trade agreement with China and keeping a distance from the Sino-Japanese conflict triggered by Takaichi Sanae's remarks about Taiwan. Japan, while figuring out America's attitude, is instead winning over Western countries other than the US.
