The city will further expand the scope of funding on the basis of implementing the policy of “supporting wage groups with housing difficulties to purchase existing commercial housing for their own occupancy” in 2025, not only to fund the purchase of newly built commercial housing, but also to fund the purchase of newly built commercial housing and existing commercial housing. The application conditions are that the applicant has no commercial housing in Changzhou, or that the total floor area of commercial housing does not exceed 75 square meters. If the applicant is married, the spouse must be a co-applicant. Those who buy commercial housing in the newly-needed commercial housing stock and complete the online signing and filing of the “Commercial Housing Sales Contract” before December 31, 2026 can receive 15% of the purchase price of the house but not more than 200,000 yuan in housing purchase grants. Those who purchase commercial housing in the existing commercial housing inventory and complete the real estate transfer registration before December 31, 2026 can receive 15% of the purchase price but not more than 180,000 yuan in housing purchase grants.
