At 21.18 on December 14, the 3rd Baiyin-Tiandushan 750 kV line project was put into operation. The project increased the power exchange capacity between Gansu Province and the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region to more than 8 million kilowatts, enhanced the transmission capacity of the Gansu and Ningxia sections of the northwest power grid, and is of great significance in ensuring DC transmission from Ningxiang and promoting the consumption of new energy sources.
