Colliers’ Chris Irwin recently represented MDN Development in the sale of two net-leased retail condos, 3541-43 Southport and 3539 Southport Unit 1S, in Chicago’s Southport Corridor.

Westin Kane with Mid-America Real Estate represented JB Realty, the buyer, in the transaction. 3541-43 Southport is a 2,400-square-foot storefront with a 900-square-foot basement. Leased to Paper Source, it is directly across the street from Anthropologie. The other property is a few storefronts away at 3539 Southport, Unit 1S. The 1,150-square-foot space with a 450-square-foot basement is also located across the street from Anthropologie. It is currently leased to Third Love, a Leap Brand company.

“With strong tenant demand, stable fundamentals, and investor confidence, Southport remains one of Chicago’s most reliable neighborhood retail districts,” said Irwin, a Senior Vice President with Colliers’ Retail Services. “These condo sales reflect the stability of the corridor and the long-term confidence in Lakeview’s retail environment.”
