Colorado Springs has been selected as the future home of a major new manufacturing hub for Swire Coca-Cola, USA. The company announced plans for a $475 million capital investment in Southeast Colorado Springs, a move expected to generate 170 net new jobs and significantly boost the region’s economic footprint.

The new 620,000-square-foot bottling facility, to be built at Peak Innovation Park, will consolidate and modernize the company’s production operations. Swire plans to break ground in 2026, replacing its current 90-year-old Denver plant with a state-of-the-art site. Once operational, the facility will produce more than 230 beverage options across 60+ brands, including sparkling soft drinks, waters, teas, juice drinks, and sports beverages.

The project’s construction phase is expected to support approximately 1,190 jobs, generating an estimated $103 million in direct labor income for workers and families in El Paso County. When the plant opens, its workforce will include production, maintenance, quality, logistics, and management roles — with each onsite job projected to support two additional jobs in the wider regional economy.
