UAE's AIDO, China International Capital Team Up to Boost Bilateral Investments

07:45 AM EST, 12/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The Abu Dhabi Investment Office, or ADIO, and China International Capital signed a strategic partnership to advance investment activities between the United Arab Emirates and China. The Chinese investment bank will establish its regional Middle East headquarters in Abu Dhabi as part of the collaboration, according to a Wednesday release. Both parties will also develop bespoke structures that will grant Emirati investors direct access to China's capital markets. The agreement also aims to expand investments under the Environmental, Social, and Governance framework by focusing on green bonds, transition-linked loans, and sustainable private equity.
