On December 8, local time, Alexey Likhachev, CEO of the Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation, said that in the past night, 10 attacks were recorded in the Energodar region of Zaporozhye Oblast, where the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant is located, and the current state of the nuclear power plant is stable. Likhachev also revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin and Hungarian Prime Minister Orban have been invited to attend the groundbreaking ceremony for the “Paksh-2” nuclear power plant to be held in Hungary in February 2026.
