The Bank of China announced that on October 16, 2025, the 3rd Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of Bank of China Co., Ltd. in 2025 elected Mr. Cai Zhao as the Bank's executive director. The Bank has received approval from the China Financial Supervisory Authority to approve Mr. Cai Zhao's qualifications as a director. Since December 3, 2025, Mr. Cai Zhao has been an executive director of the Bank, and also serves as a member of the Strategy Development Committee and Risk Policy Committee of the Bank's board of directors. Mr. Cai Zhao served as the Bank's executive director for three years.
