The Zhitong Finance App learned that the “Global Smart Home Equipment Market Quarterly Tracking Report, Third Quarter 2025” recently released by International Data Corporation (IDC) shows that in the first three quarters of 2025, the global smart vacuum cleaner market shipped a total of 17.424 million units, an increase of 18.7% year on year; of these, 6.161 million units were shipped in the third quarter, an increase of 22.9% year on year. The Middle East Africa and European markets became the core growth engine, leading the expansion of the industry. In terms of manufacturer share, Chinese manufacturers occupy the top five global shipments.

The global market

Stone Technology (688169.SH)

Stone Technology shipped a total of 3.788 million units in the first three quarters of 2025, ranking strongly at the top of the global shipment volume list. Looking at the subregions, China and the US grew steadily in the first three quarters, with the Middle East Africa and Central and Eastern Europe leading the growth rate. In the global market layout, Stone Technology has performed particularly well. With its excellent product strength and localized operation strategy, it has steadily ranked first in the industry in shipments in many countries such as the United States, Germany, South Korea, and Turkey. In the third quarter, Stone upgraded the competitiveness of its high-end product line. The new flagship product featured an ultra-thin fuselage to accurately overcome the pain points of low space cleaning and further strengthen product differentiation advantages. At the same time, the company continued to deepen the adaptation of localized channels in overseas markets, and continued to consolidate its leading global position through channel layout and service optimization to meet regional needs, and promote the in-depth development of the brand's globalization strategy.

Covos (603486.SH)

Covos robot vacuum cleaners shipped a total of 2.453 million units worldwide in the first three quarters, an increase of 27.7% over the previous year. It still maintains the number one shipment position in the Chinese market. In the third quarter, Covos upgraded its mid-range product line, focusing on the highlights of active washing floors. The process of going overseas has been accelerated, the coverage of offline stores has increased, and the localization of the supply chain has been continuously improved.

Pursue

In the first three quarters, Chase Sweeper ranked first in the European market. Among them, the share of shipments in the Western European market reached 26.8%. As the core pillar of the brand's globalization strategy, the European market continued to provide stable shipping support for Chase and became a key growth engine for its global layout. In the domestic market, there was a clear month-on-month decline in the share sought. In the future, it is still necessary to consolidate the competitiveness of the local market through strategies such as product iteration or channel optimization.

Xiaomi (01810)

Xiaomi still focuses on the mid-range cost-effective route in the smart scanning robot market and is expanding to a high-end product line. It has performed well in the domestic and Asia-Pacific markets. All products have been connected to the Mijia App to support voice control for Xiaoai students.

Cloud whale

In the first three quarters of 2025, the Cloud Whale sweeper robot ranked in the top five global shipments, and the brand's global layout achieved remarkable results. The pace of overseas market expansion continues to accelerate, and the market share in the US and the Asia-Pacific core region has increased dramatically, becoming an important engine driving brand growth. In the domestic market, Cloud Whale steadily ranked third in the industry with a market share of 16.2% in the first three quarters, consolidating its core competitiveness in the local market with a solid product strength and user base.

Chinese market

In the first three quarters of 2025, China's intelligent sweeping robot market continued its growth trend. The cumulative shipment volume reached 4.63 million units, a year-on-year increase of 27.2%, and the industry's prosperity continued to be prominent. Although domestic compensation policies fluctuated in the third quarter, bringing some uncertainty to the market, leading manufacturers relied on iterative product power upgrades and deep integration with AI algorithms to effectively hedge policy influence and push the market to maintain steady growth. The competitive landscape of the market changed further. DJI entered the market strongly across borders in August. With technology accumulation and brand power, it ranked 6th in the industry in shipments in the third quarter, injecting new competitive vitality into the market. It is worth noting that in line with the sales situation, while the market size is steadily expanding, the robot vacuum industry is still facing high inventory pressure. This current situation poses multiple challenges to manufacturers' inventory turnover, profit control, and subsequent product layout.

Zhao Siquan, a senior analyst at IDC China, believes that the steady growth of the global robot vacuum market in 2025 is the result of multiple core factors such as continuous iteration of Chinese manufacturers' product capabilities, upgrading channel operation efficiency, and the deepening release of market demand. In the future, industry competition will be further upgraded to a comprehensive strength competition centered on AI technology empowerment and home ecosystem collaboration, and technological innovation and ecological integration capabilities will become the key for enterprises to break through.
