Speaking at the General Assembly meeting commemorating the first “International Day Against Unilateral Coercive Measures” on the 4th, Sun Lei, China's Deputy Permanent Representative to the United Nations, said that currently, unilateralism is spreading uncontrollably, and unilateral coercive measures are rampant. China calls on a small number of Western countries to heed the call for justice and immediately, unconditionally and completely abolish unilateral coercive measures. It also calls on Member States, the United Nations system and other international organizations to jointly resist this illegal act and help the sanctioned countries to ease their difficulties.
