The General Office of the People's Government of Hubei Province recently issued the “Hubei Province's Work Plan for Promoting the Transformation, Upgrading and High-Quality Development of the Inland Watercraft Industry”. The “Work Plan” proposes that by 2027, the output value of the shipbuilding industry in the province will exceed 130 billion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of more than 15%, and maintain the leading share of the national market for electric ship core power systems; lead or participate in the formulation of 10 national and industry standards; cultivate 2 10 billion chain master enterprises, build 3 digital benchmark shipyards and 6 intelligent production workshops; cultivate more than 4 water sports and leisure pilot projects, and have more than 600 green power ships to continue to consolidate the pioneering advantage of Hubei's inland waterway shipbuilding industry and achieve leading development.
