On December 4, Omdia's latest report showed that in the third quarter of 2025, the smartphone market in Latin America increased 1% year-on-year, with shipments reaching 35.2 million units, the highest quarterly shipment level since the fourth quarter of 2015. Samsung ranked first with 11.6 million units and 33% market share; Xiaomi ranked second with 6.3 million units; Motorola ranked third, but it has been declining for six consecutive quarters, with a year-on-year decline of 11% this quarter. Honor ranked fourth, with shipments reaching 2.9 million units for the third consecutive quarter; Audio entered the top five with a 19% year-on-year decline.
