German Private Sector Growth Slows in November as New Manufacturing Orders Fall, Final PMI Shows

04:06 AM EST, 12/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Germany's private sector growth softened in November, reflecting a decline in manufacturing orders and a slower rise in total new business for the services segment. The final HCOB Germany Composite PMI Output Index fell to a two-month low of 52.4 from the 29-month high of 53.9 in October, Hamburg Commercial Bank and S&P Global said Wednesday. The flash estimate was 52.1. For the service sector, the final PMI stood at 53.1, against the prior 54.6 and the preliminary reading of 52.7. The final figure marks a two-month low.
