On December 2, the finals of the 9th China Shenzhen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition came to an end at the Qianhai International Convention Center in Shenzhen. On the same day, 21 top innovation projects from seven major global industries competed fiercely. In the end, the next-generation electronic information circuit's “Spilight Photonics: Silicon Photon Innovation for Artificial Intelligence” project stood out with its disruptive technology, mature business model, and broad market prospects, and won the championship in the finals. This year's competition closely revolves around the “20+8” industrial cluster layout in Shenzhen, and has set up seven major industry tracks for next-generation electronic information, digital and fashion, high-end equipment manufacturing, green and low-carbon, new materials, biomedicine and health, and marine economy. Through the multi-level selection of 11 innovative cities around the world, the competition aims to accurately meet the development needs of the city's industry and inject a surge of “global momentum” into Shenzhen's high-quality development. Up to now, 89 projects have signed intended implementation agreements with various districts in Shenzhen, and the results are beginning to show.
