AstraZeneca Shareholders Approve US Listing

11:13 PM EST, 11/03/2025 (MT Newswires) -- AstraZeneca (AZN.L, AZN.ST) said Monday its shareholders approved its proposed listing in New York, US. During a general meeting held the same day, 99.36% of all the votes cast were in favor of the proposed adoption of new articles of association, paving the way for the harmonization of the pharmaceutical company's equity listing in London, Stockholm, and New York. Chair Michel Demaré said the new structure will give the company the flexibility to access the broadest pool of capital, including in the US. AstraZeneca shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on Feb. 2, 2026.
