Ependion Unit to Buy Minority Stake in UK Rail Sector-focused Cybersecurity Group RazorSecure

05:49 AM EDT, 10/21/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Ependion's (EPEN.ST) Westermo business agreed to acquire a minority stake in British rail industry-focused cybersecurity company RazorSecure for 2.7 million pounds sterling. The newly signed deal includes a technical and commercial strategic cooperation framework, according to a Tuesday release. The Swedish technology group will also hold an option to acquire full ownership of RazorSecure, which is exercisable at the earliest after the close of the 2027 financial year. Deal closing is expected in the fourth quarter, subject to approval from UK authorities under the National Security and Investment Act.
