Recently, Lanshi Heavy Equipment received an order to manufacture 8 units of key equipment for the 2.64 million kilowatt new energy in the Xinjiang Oilfield and the integrated carbon capture project supporting integrated coal power and carbon capture projects. The project is located in Baijiantan District of Karamay City. It is CNPC's first million-ton carbon capture demonstration project. It is also currently the largest “new energy+coal-power+CCUS” integrated project in China. The first phase of the project uses 2.64 million kilowatts of photovoltaics as the core, supporting the construction of a 2 x 660,000 kilowatt ultra-supercritical coal-fired unit deep peak shaving system and 1 million tons/year carbon dioxide capture device.
