Hyatt Secures All Regulatory Approvals For $13.50 Per Share Cash Tender Offer To Acquire Playa Hotels & Resorts Pursuant To February 2025 Purchase Agreement

Hyatt Hotels Corporation ("Hyatt" or the "Company") (NYSE:H), a leading global hospitalitycompany, announced today that all required regulatory approvals have been obtained for its previously announced cash tender offer to purchase all of the outstanding ordinary shares of Playa Hotels & Resorts N.V. ("Playa") (NASDAQ:PLYA) for $13.50 per share in cash, less any applicable withholding taxes and without interest. The offer is being made pursuant to the previously announced purchase agreement, dated February 9, 2025 (the "Purchase Agreement"), among Hyatt, HI Holdings Playa B.V. ("Buyer") and Playa.
