The Zhitong Finance App learned that Nvidia (NVDA.US) revealed on Monday that its robotics technology stack has attracted more than 2 million developers to use it. The company said in a blog post that since launching the Nvidia Jetson platform in 2014, the ecosystem of more than 150 hardware, software and sensor partners has continued to expand and integrate into the developer community, helping more than 7,000 customers deploy edge AI technology in multiple industries.

The American AI giant focused on introducing the next-generation Nvidia Jetson Thor platform, which is specially designed for physical AI and humanoid robots, is compatible with mainstream AI frameworks and generative AI models, and forms a synergy effect with Nvidia's cloud-to-edge full-stack software. Specifically, it includes the Isaac platform for robot simulation and development, the GR00T humanoid robot basic model, Metropolis, a visual AI solution, and Holoscan, a real-time sensor processing tool.

This technology upgrade highlights Nvidia's strategic investment in robotics. By integrating the hardware ecosystem and software toolchain, the company is building a full-process solution from development to deployment. It is worth noting that since the launch of the Jetson series platform, it has evolved from a single computing module to a multi-dimensional system covering simulation, perception, and decision-making. The release of the Thor platform may further strengthen its market position in the fields of industrial automation and service robots.
