Recall number S2025M0109V: Some domestic plug-in hybrid XC60 vehicles with production dates from April 8, 2024 to June 11, 2025, for a total of 3,378 vehicles; some domestic pure electric C40 vehicles with a production date of July 25, 2022, a total of 1; some domestic pure electric XC40 vehicles with a production date of August 9, 2023, for a total of 1 vehicle. Recall number S2025M0110V: Some domestic plug-in hybrid S90 vehicles with production dates from May 6, 2024 to June 11, 2025, for a total of 1,520 vehicles; some domestic plug-in hybrid S60 vehicles with production dates from August 4, 2021 to October 24, 2022, for a total of 4 vehicles. Recall number S2025M0111V: Some imported plug-in hybrid XC90 vehicles with production dates from April 25, 2024 to June 11, 2025, for a total of 764 vehicles. Some vehicles within the scope of this recall may lose their braking function due to software deviations in the braking control module when the plug-in hybrid is in the “B” gear drive mode or the pure electric vehicle is in the “single pedal driving” mode without stepping on the brake pedal and continuously gliding downhill for more than 1 minute and 30 seconds, which poses a safety hazard. Zhejiang Haoqing Automobile Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Daqing Volvo Car Manufacturing Co., Ltd. and Volvo Car Sales Co., Ltd. will entrust authorized Volvo Car dealers to upgrade the brake control module software free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall to eliminate potential safety hazards.
