Anchor AS Extends Acceptance Period for REC Silicon Bid

10:50 AM EDT, 06/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- REC Silicon (RECSI.OL) said the acceptance period for the voluntary cash offer by Anchor AS was extended to July 8. The acceptance period was initially set to expire Tuesday, according to a same-day release. Anchor AS could further extend the acceptance period, with Aug. 1 as the latest possible expiry date. The settlement date for the offer will also be postponed accordingly. The 2.20 Norwegian-krone-per-share voluntary offer, announced on April 24, values the outstanding shares of the Norwegian silicon materials company at 925 million kroner.
