The US Department of Defense revealed the one-year contract on Monday, the latest effort by OpenAI to sell its technology to the US government. OpenAI wrote in a blog post on Monday that the contract is the first project carried out by the company's new entity called OpenAI for Government. OpenAI will work with the US Department of Defense to suggest ways AI can help carry out administrative tasks, such as obtaining healthcare services for US military personnel and helping prevent cyber attacks.
