The reporter learned from the Changchun Institute of Applied Chemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences that Zhang Qiang's team, a researcher at the institute, successfully developed a wearable multi-indicator monitoring system for Parkinson's disease. Through real-time collection and analysis of sweat biomarkers, it was possible to achieve non-invasive dynamic tracking of the development of Parkinson's disease. Zhang Qiang's team used nearly 3 years to develop a wearable sweat multi-indicator monitoring system for Parkinson's disease. This wearable device, which integrates a microfluidic chip and flexible electrode technology, is like a “personal health detective”. By continuously monitoring various key parameters such as levodopa, ascorbic acid, and glucose in sweat, it identifies signs of neurodegenerative disease before symptoms occur. After data processing, it is synchronized to the user's mobile app to achieve full chain management from monitoring to early warning.
