The fan-favorite storyline comes to life with a two-day immersive pop-up, inviting fans to step into the world of Anthony Marentino's iconic 'Hot Fellas' Bakery.
NEW YORK, June 6, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Max is bringing a fan-favorite storyline to life with the debut of 'Hot Fellas' Bakery, a real-world brick-and-mortar bakery pop-up inspired by the hit Max Original series "And Just Like That…." What started as a scrappy pandemic pivot by a beloved character quickly became a runaway success and one of the most talked-about moments of the second season. Anthony Marentino (played by Actor and Comedian, Mario Cantone) made his entrepreneurial mark with 'Hot Fellas', a NYC-based bread delivery service offering mouth-watering baked goods—and an even more delicious delivery crew. Admission to the pop-up bakery is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis.
Open for two days only — Saturday, June 14th and Sunday, June 15th, 2025 — this immersive activation transforms a scripted moment into an unforgettable real-life experience for fans in the heart of New York City's iconic East Village. This limited-time experience is designed to place fans at the center of one of the series' most iconic moments and welcome them into the world of the Max Original series "And Just Like That…"
Designed to mirror the 'Hot Fellas' bakery from the series, the pop-up includes house-baked breads and pastries, fresh coffee, cheeky branding, character-themed packaging, surprise-and-delight moments, and exclusive 'Hot Fellas' merchandise, exclusively designed by the pop-culture brand THNK1994. Fans can step inside Anthony's carb-filled dream, snap social-worthy content, and even meet the real-life Hot Fellas themselves.
"One of the joys of working on "And Just Like That…" is finding ways to bring the show's fan favorite moments into the real world," said Dana Flax, VP of Originals Marketing at HBO & Max. "Seeing fan-favorite Anthony's vision of hot bread, and even hotter men, come to life through the Hot Fellas bakery pop-up has been so much fun. It felt like a treat in more ways than one, and a natural way to give fans a taste of a story they love."
Max has also partnered with Grubhub and Seamless to deliver fans the ultimate stream-and-snack experience, perfect for those who can't make it to the pop up in the East Village. Over the weekend, fans in select areas of New York City, Chicago, and Los Angeles can order the limited-edition Hot Fellas Bakery Bundle, a mouthwatering assortment of baked goods ideal to enjoy while watching the iconic TV characters heat up summer in the city. While the Hot Fellas in tight blue suits aren't included in the delivery (tragic!), the bundle does include an exclusive Hot Fellas tote and bread towel. Only a limited number of bundles will be available each day, free of charge via Seamless (NYC) and Grubhub (Chicago and LA), so you'll need to act fast. Full terms and conditions available here.
