Citigroup launched Citi AI, an artificial intelligence tool for Hong Kong employees to help them simplify their daily work processes and improve work efficiency and productivity. Xin Baolian, CEO of Citigroup Hong Kong and Macau and head of banking business, said that the group is driving a wave of innovation to ensure that Citibank is ahead of customer needs and believes that generative artificial intelligence can change the working model from the root. Currently, Citi AI has been opened for use by approximately 150,000 employees in 11 markets around the world, and plans are to gradually expand Citi AI to other markets around the world this year.
