  • RXR appointed Frank Pusinelli as chief administrative officer, a newly created role. A 26-year RXR veteran, Pusinelli also retains his position in RXR’s office business, where he is responsible for the portfolio’s management, leasing, and overall operation of that platform. 
  • Northmarq has added Chinmay Bhatt, Noam Franklin and Cody Kirkpatrick as managing directors in the firm’s Debt + Equity platform. Based in New York and joining Northmarq from Berkadia, the trio will execute institutional equity and structured solutions across the U.S., with a focus on the living sector including multifamily, student housing and build-to-rent communities. 
  • J.P. Morgan promoted Sharmi Sobhan to Division Manager for Community Development Banking’s (CDB) East Region. In her new role, effective June 1, Sobhan will oversee the delivery of affordable housing banking products to clients across the East Coast, including Florida, New York, Washington, D.C., Boston and Atlanta.She will succeed Dave Walsh, who is pursuing an opportunity outside the firm.  
  • Lee & Associates has expanded its New Jersey industrial practice to 24 brokers with the additions of Gary Capetta as managing partner and Matthew Corpuel as partner. They’re based in the commercial real estate firm’s Elmwood Park office, bringing nearly 70 years of combined industry expertise to their new positions. 
  • ISS, a global leader in workplace experience and facility management, has appointed Brad Lurie as Vice President of Sales, East Region for ISS North America. He will lead efforts to drive business growth and deepen existing partnerships across the East region.  
  • Clune Construction has promoted five leaders in its New York office who have made significant contributions across project management, field operations, safety, and service work. They include Enda Crowley – Project Executive, Senior Vice President; Thomas McLaughlin – Senior Project Manager, Team Lead, Vice President; Ernie Sobieski – Senior Risk Manager, Vice President; Erol Tanercan – Senior Superintendent, Team Lead, Vice President; and Jake Tozour – Project Executive, Senior Vice President. 
  • The Hudson Companies promoted Laszlo Syrop, Managing Director of Acquisitions, to the position of principal. In his new role, Syrop will continue to lead the Acquisitions team while joining the firm’s leadership and HR committees. Complementing his acquisition responsibilities, Syrop will help direct company strategy, partnerships, governance, and capital formation activities.   
  • Law firm Adler & Stachenfeld LLP announced that six attorneys from Seiden & Schein, P.C., have joined the firm: named and founding partner Alvin Schein, Hillary A. Potashnick and Stacy E. Jacobson, as well as three associates and members of the Seiden & Schein professional team. Schein will co-chair the NYC Real Estate Tax & Zoning Incentives Practice Group with YuhTyng “Tyng” Patka. Potashnick will chair the firm’s new Condominium & Cooperative Practice Group. Jacobson has will focus her practice on a broad array of real estate transactions. In addition, associate David W. Lu will work with Potashnick in the Condominium & Cooperative Practice Group, and associates Scott A. Schreiber and Efram Klipper will work with Patka and Schein in the Real Estate Tax & Zoning Incentives Practice Group. 
  • Sculptor Capital Management, Inc., a leading global alternative asset manager specializing in opportunistic investing, closed on Sculptor CLO XXXV, a $408-million collateral loan obligation (CLO) transaction. With the closing of CLO 35, Sculptor currently manages a global suite of 34 CLOs and CBOs totaling approximately $13 billion across both the US and Europe.
