Stream Realty Partners and pension fund Australian Superfund acquired the recently renovated Houston Center from Brookfield Properties. While no sales price was disclosed for the recent transaction, the Houston Business Journal reported that Brookfield acquired the complex in 2017 for $875 million.

Houston Center is a 4.6 million-square-foot complex spanning 9.2 acres downtown. It includes 1 Houston Center at 1221 McKinney St., 2 Houston Center at 909 Fannin St., 3 Houston Center at 1301 McKinney St., 4 Houston Center at 1200 McKinney St. and The Highlight at Houston Center, the complex’s retail center.

The Houston Center campus offers a number of amenities, including flexible workspaces, a 10,000-square-foot fitness center, and a 7,500-square-foot conference center.

The entire Houston Center campus underwent an extensive renovation effort in recent years. Stream’s Ryan Barbles and Matt Asvestas will lead the leasing efforts for Houston Center on behalf of the venture.
