NEW YORK, April 22, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- B&H is pleased to share the newest version of Insta360's flagship 360° camera is here: the Insta360 X5 camera featuring 8K video and stabilization, the Insta 360 X5 boasts performance improvements to keep recording for longer in more extreme environments.

The Insta360 X5 can perform as both a 360° camera and wide-angle action camera thanks to its dual- and single-lens modes. In dual-lens mode, you can record up to 8K30 360° video and in single-lens mode you can record up to 4K60 video with a 170° FOV. AI PureShot processes 72MP photos for images you can share on social media. Creative video modes like Bullet Time, Me Mode, and TimeShift are built in to the camera's interface. Advanced 360° editing modes in the Insta360 app and desktop Insta360 studio software allows one to achieve enhanced video production aesthetics with ease.

Control your camera hands-free using AI gesture control or toggle between settings manually with the 2.5" durable touchscreen. The Insta 360 X5 comes equipped with Insta360's smooth FlowState stabilization algorithm and 360° Horizon Lock to ensure captured footage on any terrain remains balanced. Capture high-flying angles and third-person views by attaching a selfie stick to the camera, which automatically disappears in the edit.

The biggest improvements to the Insta360 X5 enhance its durability. Without a case, the X5 can be fully submerged up to 49', which is a 16' increase from its predecessor. The battery has also gotten a boost with a capacity of 2400mAh. This allows you to record 5.7K30 360° video for up to 135 minutes. In Endurance mode, this extends to 185 minutes, and when recording in 8K30, it can run for up to 88 minutes.

The Insta360 X5 is available as a standalone camera or in an Essentials Bundle with an Invisible Selfie Stick, extra battery, and fast charging case.
