  • Newmark hired Mark Repstad as executive managing director, based in the Downtown Los Angeles office. Repstad brings more than 20 years of experience and will focus on enhancing the firm’s industrial service offerings, with a core market spanning Los Angeles and the Inland Empire. 
  • Newmark has also added two new Valuation & Advisory (V&A) Market co-leaders, Andrew G. Power, MAI, MRICS and Sean M. Crosby, MAI, who joined Newmark in Southern California in the fourth quarter of 2024. Based in Los Angeles, Power and Crosby lead teams of experienced appraisers who provide valuation services for some of the most complex assignments in Southern California. 
  • CIM Group welcomed Jason Vassiliades to its Infrastructure Investments team as managing director. Before joining CIM, Vassiliades served as managing director at Duration Capital, a transportation infrastructure investment firm that was founded in 2024 as a spin-out from Oaktree Capital.  
  • ExchangeRight, one of the nation’s leading providers of diversified real estate DST and REIT investments, appointed Jason Roland as SVP of the Mid-Atlantic region. Roland will oversee client relationships and strategic development initiatives across Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and the District of Columbia.  
  • Colliers added veteran Mike Lopus to its Santa Barbara brokerage following the firm’s entry into the market last month. Lopus joins the firm as VP, specializing primarily in investment sales of multifamily and student housing assets along the Central Coast. 
  • JLL has expanded its Orange County brokerage business. The firm has hired commercial real estate veteran Ram Mann as VP, specializing in working with office tenants on their real estate needs. 
  • Angeles Equity Partners, LLC, a private investment firm specializing in niche manufacturing, critical industrial services and specialty distribution businesses, added Freddie Briggs as an operating principal at Angeles Operations Group. Briggs brings substantial experience within portfolio companies, driving strategy, transformation and performance improvement. 
  • San Diego-based net lease REIT Realty Income Corporation announced pricing for a public offering of $600 million of 5.125% senior unsecured notes due 2035. The public offering price for the notes was 98.371% of the principal amount for an effective semi-annual yield to maturity of 5.337%. The offering is expected to close on April 10. 
  • RentSpree, a provider of rental software, has partnered with Docusign to help simplify and accelerate rental transactions for brokers and agents. Aligning RentSpree’s online standard rental application and screening platform with Docusign’s suite of real estate tools will help cut down on administrative burdens and further empower agents and brokers to work more efficiently with rentals, according to RentSpree. 
  • San Francisco-based Hover, a leader in property data technology, announced a significant expansion of its claims automation platform. Building on its exterior property capabilities, Hover now offers a comprehensive interior solution featuring accurate interior measurements, standardized photo documentation, and new Virtual Walkthrough technology. 
  • ForeFront Power, a leading developer of commercial and industrial-scale solar energy and battery storage projects in the U.S. and Mexico, said the Kern Community College District (CCD) Solar Portfolio has been recognized as a “Top Project of the Year” in the E+E Leader Awards. Judges recognized the Kern CCD Solar Portfolio as an outstanding example of energy innovation in higher education.
