On April 3, a train loaded with goods such as kaolin and monosodium glutamate left the special line of the Xinchang Railway in Hohhot City. The special train is scheduled to arrive at Xingang North Station in 3 days, then be shipped by sea to Shantou Port in Guangdong. The entire journey is expected to take 9 days. Compared with before, the transit time can be shortened by about 3 days. This is the first railway and sea intermodal “one single system” special transport train operated in Inner Mongolia.
