Sales of Tesla electric vehicles in various European markets have declined sharply recently due to boycotting the company's products due to dissatisfaction with Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla Motors in the US, and the models have lost their appeal for many years. According to an AFP report on April 1, data released by the French automaker and seller data platform on the same day showed that with the overall French electric vehicle market declining slightly, Tesla's electric vehicle sales in France fell 36.8% year on year in March; relevant data from Sweden showed that Tesla's sales in the country fell 63.9% year on year in March, and sales in the first quarter of this year fell 55.2% year on year; in Denmark, Tesla's sales in the first quarter fell 56% year on year. Sales data for Germany, the UK, and Italy for March will be released in the next few days. Currently known data shows that in the first two months of this year, Tesla's sales volume in the European Union fell by almost half, and currently accounts for only 1.1% of the market share.
