Infineon Partners with Qualcomm on Car Computers in Software-defined Vehicles

11:05 AM EST, 11/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Infineon Technologies (IFX.F) signed a technology agreement with US semiconductor giant Qualcomm's (QCI.F) subsidiary Qualcomm Technologies to develop central car computers in software-defined vehicles. The German semiconductor company said Monday the deal will provide a microcontroller-based design pattern for Qualcomm's Snapdragon Ride reference platforms for advanced computing and in-vehicle artificial intelligence.
