InterDigital: Q3 Earnings Snapshot

WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — InterDigital Inc. (IDCC) on Thursday reported profit of $80.2 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Wilmington, Delaware-based company said it had net income of $2.34. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $3.11 per share.

The wireless research and development company posted revenue of $193.4 million in the period, which beat Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $156.9 million.

For the current quarter ending in December, InterDigital expects its per-share earnings to range from $1.72 to $1.98.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $154 million to $160 million for the fiscal fourth quarter.

InterDigital expects full-year earnings in the range of $11.99 to $12.25 per share, with revenue ranging from $813 million to $819 million.
