On a per-share basis, the Washington-based company said it had net income of $2.35. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $3.84 per share.

The business advisory firm posted revenue of $1.01 billion in the period.

FTI Consulting expects full-year earnings in the range of $9.50 to $10 per share, with revenue in the range of $3.94 billion to $4.1 billion.
