03:19 AM EDT, 10/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Novartis' (NOVN.SW) oral Bruton's tyrosine kinase inhibitor drug, remibrutinib, reduced relapses and delayed disease progression in patients with relapsing multiple sclerosis. The data from the phase 3 Remodel-1 and Remodel-2 trials showed that the medication decreased the annualized relapse rate of patients, compared with teriflunomide, according to an Oct. 23 release. Additionally, Novartis said remibrutinib had no liver safety signal and a robust and consistent safety profile, with the company adding that patients dosed with the oral drug had fewer liver enzyme elevations.
