Volati stock closed at SEK23.75 on Friday, roughly flat over the past month, just as Q3 2026 numbers hit the tape. At first glance the headline looks soft, with reported EBITDA of SEK58m sitting well below the underlying SEK87m that strips out acquisition related costs. That gap is exactly where the real story lives.
Short term traders see squeezed profit. Long term holders are staring at a very different picture, with SEK575m of acquired annual sales, a trailing P/E near 11x and leverage at 3.1x net debt to adjusted EBITDA now central to the investment debate.

The upbeat story around Salix hinges on execution, not headlines.
"Preparations for a potential separate listing of Salix, combined with Salix’ own financial targets such as net revenue growth of more than 15% and a 12% EBITA margin ambition, may help sharpen capital allocation and cost discipline, which can support margins and earnings."
Q3 gives partial support. Volati delivered 15% growth in underlying EBITDA while cash conversion reached 93%, which aligns with the cash discipline the Salix thesis leans on. Leverage at 3.1x net debt to adjusted EBITDA and weaker end markets in construction and agriculture indicate that the volume and margin ambitions are not yet proven in current conditions.

The harsher view on Volati argues that margin gains are one off and that Salix and Ettiketto will struggle to reach their targets as the cycle drags.
"Although Salix targets more than 15% net revenue growth and a higher 12% EBITA margin over time, cost savings, logistics efficiencies and product mix improvements may prove harder to repeat after the recent uplift. This could cap future margin gains and affect net margins."
Q3 supports the worry on repeatability. Group underlying EBITDA rose 15%, yet reported EBITDA fell 23% after integration costs and Ettiketto’s margin diluted from about 18% to about 14%. Salix’s specific EBITA margin progress is not disclosed, so its 12% goal remains unproven against this print.
Volati’s mixed quarter and steady share price raise questions about how management delivers on its plans. The real opportunity may lie in stocks where fundamentals and valuations are not yet fully aligned.
