Archer Ltd. Books Additional Rig Contracts with Energy Group YPF in Argentina

11:36 PM EDT, 10/18/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Archer Ltd. (ARCH.OL) secured additional contracts with Argentine energy group YPF for rigs in the South American country with a combined estimated value in the $100 million to $110 million range, according to an Oct. 16 release. Under a new contract with an initial three-year term and a two-year option, the Oslo-listed drilling and well services group agreed to deploy the DLS-160 rig for YPF's operations in the Vaca Muerta formation in Argentina. It also agreed to extend the deployment of the DLS-163 rig at the same site.
