Western Australia Supreme Court Clears Central Asia Metals-Cygnus Metals Deal

07:16 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The Supreme Court of Western Australia approved mineral explorer Cygnus Metals' acquisition by Central Asia Metals (CAML.L), the London-listed metal production and exploration company said Wednesday. The all-stock deal is expected to become effective on Thursday, when Cygnus will file a copy of the court's orders with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission. Cygnus shareholders will receive the deal consideration on the implementation date of Oct. 27.
