China Everbright Water (01857) won the bid for the Baoding Xianrenqiao Reclaimed Water Plant and Supporting Pipeline Network Project Franchise Project

According to Zhitong Finance App, China Everbright Water (01857) issued an announcement. On October 14, 2026, a consortium (consortium) formed by the Company and a number of independent third parties received a notice. The consortium won the bid in the public tender for the Baoding Xianrenqiao Reclaimed Water Plant and Supporting Pipeline Network Engineering Franchise Project (this project). The consortium will establish a joint venture project company (joint venture) to undertake the project, but only after a final agreement is concluded.

The project is mainly responsible for (but not limited to) investment, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of a 150,000 m3/day reclaimed water plant with a design treatment scale of 150,000 m3/day (including municipal sewage treatment system, sludge treatment system and emergency rain sewage storage system with a design capacity of 30,000 cubic meters), a sewage trunk with a total length of about 13.4 km, a recycled water pipeline with a total length of about 3.7 km, and a road bridge entering the factory. The franchise period for the project is expected to be 40 years, including 2 years of construction and 38 years of operation, depending on the conclusion of the final agreement.
