Kriptown Extends Acceptance Period for Spotlight Group Takeover Offer

01:17 AM EDT, 10/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kriptown extended the acceptance period for its takeover proposal for Swedish financial services company Spotlight Group (SPGR.ST) to Dec. 9, according to a Tuesday release. The offer was originally scheduled to close on Wednesday, and Kriptown noted that the acceptance period could be further extended to March 25, 2027. The French technology company cited additional time needed for the regulatory approval process for the extension, noting that clearance from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority is still being processed. As of the extension, Kriptown already owned 94% of the total outstanding shares and votes of the target. Settlement is expected to begin on Dec. 15, assuming that the completion of the offer is announced on Dec. 11.
