On October 8, we learned from China Railway Shanghai Group Co., Ltd., that during the recent 2026 National Day holiday, the Yangtze River Delta Railway safely sent more than 27.7 million passengers, with an average of over 3.95 million passengers per day, sending more than 1.36 million more passengers over the same period last year, an increase of more than 5%; of these, 4.427 million passengers were sent on October 1, a record high for single-day passenger traffic during the National Day holiday in previous years.
