Avacta Group Raises GBP12.5 Million from Share Sale

03:04 AM EDT, 10/06/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Avacta Group (AVCT.L) conditionally raised 12.5 million pounds sterling from the sale of new shares at 0.68 pound apiece, according to a Tuesday filing. The life sciences company placed 17,411,766 new shares and allocated 970,587 new shares for subscription as part of the fundraise. With the completion of the share sale, Avacta also closed its capital access window, which started on Sept. 30. The company previously said net proceeds from the fundraise would be used to develop AVA6103, AVA6000 and AVA6207, and to repay 2.5 million pounds sterling of its quarterly convertible bond obligation due Oct. 20.
