J D Wetherspoon Posts Lower FY26 Profit; Revenue Grows

02:28 AM EDT, 10/02/2026 (MT Newswires) -- J D Wetherspoon's (JDW.L) fiscal 2026 profit declined, while revenue jumped year over year, according to a Friday release. Profit after separately disclosed items for the 52 weeks ended July 26 was 60.5 million pounds sterling, compared with 68 million pounds earlier. EPS moved to 0.558 pound from 0.568 pound. The British pub operator's revenue was 2.24 billion pounds, compared with 2.13 billion pounds a year ago. Meanwhile, the board maintained a final dividend of 0.08 pound per share, payable on Nov. 26 to shareholders on record Oct. 23. This takes the full-year dividend to 0.12 pound per share, unchanged from the year-ago period.
