It is worth mentioning that the increase in performance stemmed from a sharp rise in the volume and price of copper and cobalt. The company's copper production in the first half of the year was 38,214 tons, an increase of 37% over the previous year, mainly due to the Musonoi mine starting operation in November 2025; cobalt production jumped from 71 tons in the same period last year to 4,345 tons. The average price of copper was 12,226 US dollars/ton, up 75% year over year. During the same period, the average benchmark price of LME copper was 13,088 US dollars/ton, up 39% year on year, and the average price of metal reported cobalt was 25.56 US dollars/lb, up 94% year on year, mainly due to tight supply of cobalt export quotas from the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC).
